The
Journey

From referral to your first race weekend in your school's colors. The path is short and high-touch — we run the entire onboarding through The Driving Club at Road Atlanta, our home circuit and operations partner. The Cup itself launches once the founding class assembles and partnerships formalize.

How It Works

  1. Apply by referral or direct inquiry. Founding class is invite-only.
  2. Interview with the founder committee. Filter is fit, not net worth.
  3. Match to your alma mater — or to the closest planned partner school if your school's two founder seats are taken.
  4. Onboarding at The Driving Club at Road Atlanta. Garage day, paddock walk, intro to the student team you'll back.
  5. Once the founding class assembles, the Alumni Racing Cup launches — designed to run multi-class alongside collegiate drivers at IMSA weekends.
  6. Year of 12 bespoke experiences — track days, race weekends, manufacturer days, founder retreat.
  7. End of season: signed nose panel from the car you funded mailed to your office.
  8. Renew at founder-locked rate, transfer your seat at up to 3x buy-in, or hold for life.

Why It Works

  • Designed for real wheel-to-wheel racing alongside collegiate drivers — sanction sought via IMSA partnership in formation
  • Insurance, tech, and paddock infrastructure handled by The Driving Club at Road Atlanta
  • Capital underwrites the launch — once partnerships formalize, allocation flows directly to the cars you watch race
  • 2 per school cap creates lasting scarcity; founding class is finite by design
  • Founder seats appreciate via the 3x transfer ceiling, founder-to-founder only
  • Forever status protects the 2026 buy-in rate against future increases

Founder Status
Never Expires

2026 is the only year the founding rate exists; the figure is disclosed in the founder interview. Standard membership opens at $145,000 annually in 2027 once the Cup is operational. Founders keep their rate for life and may transfer their seat to another approved member at up to 3x buy-in — the only secondary market for AlumniRacing seats. Transfers are founder-to-founder, subject to the standard interview.

Insurance
& Operations

The Driving Club at Road Atlanta is our home and operations partner

Alumni driving at sanctioned events requires real coverage and real infrastructure. We do not run a separate insurance program — we operate inside the umbrella of The Driving Club at Road Atlanta, the 25,000 sq ft private member club overlooking the circuit, with reciprocal access at VIR. Cup-weekend coverage scales with the IMSA partnership as it formalizes.

Coverage Across the Season

Track Days
Driving Club Umbrella
All bespoke member track sessions covered through the partnership. Sport / Sprint / Touring grouping per The Driving Club's member protocol.
Race Weekends
IMSA-Sanctioned Coverage Target
Cup race weekends planned under IMSA-sanctioned coverage once partnership finalizes. Tech inspection, paddock credentialing, and on-track marshaling target IMSA standards.
Personal
Supplemental Available
Members may add personal driver coverage through the partnership broker if desired. Standard for HNW exotic-car insurance riders.

Operations Stack

  • Home circuit: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (Braselton, GA)
  • Member infrastructure: The Driving Club — 25,000 sq ft clubhouse, full hospitality, reciprocal VIR access
  • Race-weekend tech and paddock target: IMSA Spec MX-5 Cup standards, once sanction formalizes
  • Coaching: pro instructors paired with each founder for first weekend; ongoing on request
  • Onboarding: full day at The Driving Club, garage walk-through, student team introduction
  • 2026 footprint: Southeast and East Coast events. National in 2027.

Member Protocols

  • Member directory and event coordination via private Discord (formal app comes when membership justifies it)
  • No member contact information shared externally without consent
  • Race-weekend conduct guidelines published before first event — same paddock decorum as IMSA
  • Annual member report on allocation, calendar, and reserve usage

Apply

Invite-only · interview required

Membership is by introduction. If you have been referred or believe you would be a fit for the 2026 founding class, write us — tell us your school, your motorsport background, and why this matters to you.

What We Look For

  • Genuine connection to a university with collegiate motorsport (alumni, faculty, donor relationship)
  • Track-day experience helpful but not required — we coach
  • Mentorship instinct — the founder class is built around backing student teams
  • Paddock decorum — same standards we'll hold once Cup operations formalize
  • Capacity to honor the multi-year arc — this is not a one-weekend ticket

What Happens After You Apply

  1. Receive prospectus + interview scheduling within 5 business days
  2. 30-minute interview with a founder committee member
  3. Acceptance decision within 10 business days of interview
  4. Onboarding day at The Driving Club — meet your student team
  5. First race weekend within 90 days of onboarding
